Oca Hotels and Augas Santas Golf are hosts of the seventh edition of the Ribeira Sacra Women’s World Heritage International Ladies Open golf tournament. Players of twenty-four nationalities will have on July 11, 12 and 13, the opportunity to improve their positions in the final ranking of the circuit, consisting of a total of twenty tests, to get into the Ladies European Tour, the queen category. The top five players will be promoted automatically for the 2020 season, while the players in the sixth to twentieth positions enter an exclusive training program at the Lalla Aicha Tour School. In Spain there are two tests of the LETAS (Let Access) one in Galicia, Pantón, and another in Valencia.
This eleventh event on the European calendar will feature professional players from about 25 different countries, who will fight for victory in a tournament with a distribution of € 35,000 in prizes and in which the Swedish Johanna Gustavsson will try to revalidate the title won last year .
On day 10, fans will be able to sign up for the PRO-AM tournament, where players and amateurs will have the opportunity to meet on an always interesting day for fans of this sport.
The Spanish representation in this edition will be headed by Laura Gómez Ruiz, third in the race for the Order of Merit Let Access 2019, Carmen Alonso and Mireia Prat among others.
The event, is within the calendar of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation and the Galician Golf Federation, has the organization of Gambito Golf and with the sponsorship of Mercedes-Benz, Parfois, Solán de Cabras, Mahou, Cubical London Dry Gin and Philips; and the institutional support of the Diputación de Lugo, the Pantón Council, the Regulatory Council Denomination of Orixe Ribeira Sacra and the Tourism Consortium of the Ribeira Sacra.
