The painter Isabel Rey will exhibit her works at our hotel Oca Puerta del Camino

‘Paintings for an anniversary’ is the exhibition with which the compostelana artist Isabel Rey joins from tomorrow, October 1, to the celebration of the twenty birthday of our hotel Oca Puerta del Camino, a four-star establishment located in the compostelan neighborhood of San Lázaro a few meters from the French Way and in front of the Palacio de Congresos.

The official opening of the exhibition, which will have free admission, will take place from 7:30 p.m. in the hotel hall. Concluded the same, a Spanish wine will be served to all attendees, while Isabel Rey’s works will remain exhibited throughout the month of October in the entrance hall and the common spaces of our establishment, with free access.

Since she began her career in 1993, Isabel Rey has participated in fifty exhibitions, both individual and collective, also reaping numerous awards in recognition of her work. In addition, it should be noted that, in parallel to painting, this versatile compostelana artist is also dedicated to photography, engraving and the restoration of works of art.

The pictorial exhibition of Isabel Rey is one of the initiatives with which the OCA Puerta del Camino hotel has wanted this year to open the hotel to the city of Santiago and to all of Galicia on its twentieth anniversary. The activities will continue in the coming months, which will allow us to attend interesting presentations or enjoy the Conference on Forgotten Galician Gastronomy, in which our kitchen team, headed by chef Pablo Vila, will recover dishes that Galicians have already forgotten . As it could not be otherwise, the traditional lighting of Christmas lights at the end of November will not be lacking in the celebrations.
