Next year we will open a new hotel in Burgos

We keep growing! And this time it will be with the opening of our first hotel in Castilla y León, more specifically in the city of Burgos: OCA Burgos Centro. This is the old Hotel Fernán González, which closed its doors at the end of last year and will have about 74 rooms.

The city of Burgos, where we will soon be, stands out for its medieval architecture with the cathedral of French Gothic style as its maximum reference and in which is the tomb of El Cid (Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar). And very close to this historical monument you will find our new hotel, more specifically in Calera street, in the heart of the city of Burgos.

Apart from the cathedral and very close to the hotel you can also enjoy the MEH (Museum of Human Evolution), the Congress Palace and just 5 minutes drive from the Monasterio de las Huelgas. In addition to the wide range of activities organized by the city that will allow you to know and enjoy this beautiful city.

Before the opening of Oca Burgos Centro, which we hope will take place at the beginning of April 2020, the hotel will undergo a major renovation. In this way, during this year we will carry out a complete renovation project, providing the hotel with modern facilities, up to the quality standards of the chain and incorporating state-of-the-art technologies, but without losing the essence of the original building.

We continue thus reinforcing our brand and betting on being a reference in northern Spain and expanding our offer on the Camino de Santiago, one of our star product lines. With the management of this new hotel, OCA Burgos Centro, we will now add 32 units and have our first four-star hotel in the community of Castilla y León.
